SOLAR ENERGY -- IDEAL “FOOD” FOR HUMANS: HRM PHENO

The HRM phenomenon is in fact a rediscovery of an ancient
method, which was used to heal physical, mental, emotional
and spiritual diseases. This method has been practiced in
the ancient times in many different parts of the world
(Egypt, Greece, America). The Indian tribes of America
have many interesting tales associated with the sun. To get
energy for their body, Native Indians take a sunbath by
standing in the sun for two hours exposing their body.
They do not require any food. during this time They are
sustained on “food” of the sunlight. Ancient Egyptians and
Americans called it Heliotherapy – deriving energy for the
human body needs directly from the primary source of energy
-- the sun itself. Conventionally, humans are indirectly
getting the sun’s energy through food, which is a
by-product of the sun’s energy. If there is no sunlight, no
food will grow.

About Hira Ratan Manek (HRM)

Hira Ratan Manek was born in 1937 in India. After his
retirement in 1992 he began researching the ancient
practice of sun-gazing. Since June 18th, 1995, HRM had
strictly fasted while he derived his energy from the energy
of the sun and water, and was under the observation of
various science and medical teams.

The first of these fastings lasted for 211 days during
1995-1996 in Calicut, India directed by Dr. Ramachandran, a
medical expert on allopathy and ayurvedic medicine. This
was followed by a 411 day fast in 2000-2001 in Ahmedabad,
India directed by and international team of 21 medical
doctors and scientists led by Dr. Sudir Shah and Dr. K. K.
Shah, the acting President of Indian Medical Association at
that time.

After the excitement of the findings in Ahmedabad, HRM was
invited to Thomas Jefferson University and University of
Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he underwent a 130 day
observation period. The observation team was led by Dr.
Andrew B. Newberg, the leading authority on the brain and
by Dr. George C. Brenard, the leading authority on the
pineal gland. Seven hundred photographs have been taken
where the neurons were reported to be active and
regenerating. Furthermore, the pineal gland was expanding,
not shrinking which is typically what happens after
mid-50s; its maximum average size about 6 x 6 mm; however,
for HRM it has been measured to be at 8 x 11 mm.

In 2002 HRM gave over 136 lectures in the USA and
established his International Headquarters in Orlando,
Florida. In 2003 HRM gave over 147 lectures in the USA,
Canada, Caribbean and UK and nearly 400 newspapers all
around the world have published articles about him.
Additionally, many television channels have broadcasted
stories about him and he was interviewed by BBC World

Safe Sun Gazing Practice

We have a super-computer in our bodies given to us by
nature, which is our brain. The brain is more powerful than
the most advanced computer. Each and every human being is
gifted with innumerable talents and infinite inherent
powers. Unfortunately, these infinite inherent powers are
programmed in that part of the brain that is largely
dormant and unused. We make use of about 5-7% of our
brain. If we can activate the human brain and awaken these
inherent infinite powers we can raise ourselves to higher
levels. Sun energy is the source that powers the brain.

The sun-gazing practice entails looking at the rising or
setting sun one time per day, only during the safe hours –
within 1 hour after sunrise or within 1 hour before sunset.
It is scientifically proven that during these times we can
avoid UV and IR ray exposure, which is harmful for the
eyes. The UV index is 0 during these times. You can buy
photo sun-cards to monitor the UV and IR radiation.

For those who cannot sun-gaze during the safe periods,
sunbathing is an effective method for receiving sun energy
at a slower rate. The best times to sunbath is when the UV
index is 2 or below. This usually occurs within the 2-hour
period after sunrise or before sunset. Sunbathing during
the day is to be avoided, except for during the winter
months, when the UV index usually remains at 2 throughout
the day. Do not use sunscreen; they contain harmful
chemicals that are absorbed through the skin, and may cause
skin cancer.

0 – 3 Months
On the first day, during the safe hours, look at the sun
for a maximum of 10 seconds. On the second day look for 20
seconds, adding 10 seconds every succeeding day. Stand on
bare earth barefoot. Do not wear any glasses. Consciously
hold a thought that the sunrays you are receiving are of
immense benefit to you and will not harm you. In three
month you will the gazing at the sun 15 minutes straight.
Depression, sadness, and other mental disorders will
disappear.
3 – 6 Months
When you reach 30 minutes of continuously looking at a sun,
the body receives the entire spectrum of the sunlight and
you will be liberated from physical disease.
6 – 9 Months
In 7.5 months (35 min. of sun gazing) hunger starts going
down. The need for food intake decreases. Hunger is an
indication of energy requirements for the body, which is
essential for its existence. After 9 months (44 min. of sun
gazing) the brain will be activated with the sun’s energy.
All cravings and hunger will disappear. This method can be
safely applied to control obesity.
After 9 Months or when you reach 44 minute level you should
give up sun gazing for the sake of your eyes.
