HUMAN ENERGY FIELD

Life is electromagnetic and cannot be explained by mechanical or biochemical means.  Physics, the scientific source of all natural information about the universe, holds that all matter which exists in space is composed of atoms.  Atoms are all the same whether they compose inert or living matter. In each atom, electrons spin around a nucleus, throwing off some electrons, leaving an unstable state.  Other electrons in the environment rush in to fill the space.  Although composed of the same electrons as inert substances, the human field absorbs and throws off energy dynamically.  It interacts with and influences matter, whereas fields associated with inert manner react passively.

Light, sound, and matter are all manifestations of energy, some of which have electric and magnetic fields around them, and others that do not.  Whether the energy is constellated as a cup, a tree, or a human being, it has an energy field associated with it.  There are no firm boundaries between fields; they extend everywhere; they are opened energy systems free to evolve and grow. Open energy systems are highly interactive systems.  When a system becomes closed and stagnant, structural mutations occur.  Cancer is probably such a mutation. The healthy body is a flowing, interactive, dynamic electromagnetic field.  What interferes with the flow of energy will have detrimental effects.

In the physical body there are two primary electrical systems. One is the well-known electric current of the nervous system -- the brain and the nerves --which cause muscle contraction, nerve transmission, glandular secretion, and sensations.  Brain waves are measured by an electroencephalogram (EEG).  Electrical current generated by muscle activity can be measured by an electromyogram (EMG). The electrical heart activity is picked up by an electrocardiogram (EKG).

  Brain waves

In an anxious state, mental activity can reach 34 cycles per second -- the higher beta rate.  The brain wave rate during normal human activity is 21 cycles per second, the speed of the normal beta rhythm. The level below beta is the calm alpha state, at 13 cycles per second.  This state is the natural level of brain activity for animals.  Below alpha is the theta state, when your brain is slowed to about 8 cycles per second, and you are even more focused and calm.  At this point solid objects start to look transparent.

If you slow your brain activity further, to 5 cycles per second, you are in the delta state.  You can no longer differentiate between hearing, seeing, and feeling.  Time and space become interchangeable.   You can feel an experience and “see” it as if you were on the outside.   Perception no longer depends on “sight”.

Beyond the electrical frequencies of muscle, brain, and heart, there is another field of energy, smaller in amplitude and higher in frequency. This electromagnetic energy is 8 to 10 times faster than the other biological electricity of the body.  This newly discovered electromagnetic energy emanates from atoms and cells.  There have been many names associated with this human energy: chi, prana, life force, and aura.  Invisible to most people, it is seen as a halo or light-colored mist around a living body.  This energy field is unique.  It is continuous, while all the other body electric recordings of heart, brain, and muscle are off-and-on signals: a muscle contraction is followed by muscle relaxation; a heartbeat is followed by a quiet rest period; and a brain wave is followed by lesser action.

The first equipment to measure this energy was a telemetry instrument built by an engineer who had developed the telemetry systems which NASA used to send back to earth the astronauts’ vital physiological recordings of muscle and heart activity during the first manned space trips.  Simply stated, telemetry is a radio broadcasting system capable of intercepting and projecting the body’s electrical activity.  The electrical signal is picked up from the body’s surface and broadcasted by FM radio frequency carrier. The airborne signal then is picked up in the laboratory by a radio receiver and recorded on tape or disk for further analysis. Why have these signals not been reported previously? – Remember that telemetry instrument was a product of the space age.  Earlier recording equipment was incapable of detecting this small signal of the energy field.

Everything on earth takes energy in, and releases energy.  The process of life and growth involves this exchange of energy with the environment – an input and output.  Part of the output is an energy field that exists around every living being, including human beings.  This subtle “output energy” – aura -- holds your life energy, reflects your state of health, and filters out and takes in the energies of the universe.  The aura is continually moving and pulsing, and this free movement of energy is what keeps you healthy.  Minerals, plants, animals, and humans all have their own auras, which differ in their complexity and color ranges.  Minerals have a white aura around them, plants a golden one, while the aura surrounding animals is indigo blue.  The aura of humans is multi-layered and multi-colored. This complexity represents the added dimension of consciousness, together with all aspects of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual functioning.

The vibrations and the colors of the layers of a human aura alter as a result of internal changes in health and consciousness and the effects of external energies. Human auras are mobile and fluctuating; they respond to environmental inputs as well as shift in thoughts, feelings and physical well-being.   Every person produces a unique energy pattern.

The change in your consciousness is also reflected in your aura.  The normal, beta state produces the typical multi-colored aura.  In alpha state the aura shows a blue overlay.  In theta the blue gives way to gold, and if the delta state is reached, the aura is almost white, lightly tinged with magenta.

The continual flux in the energies of the aura is accentuated by normal daily activities and sleep patterns, as well as the aging process.  When you are asleep, your energy (aura) is very strong.  During childhood and until puberty, the red and oranges are dominant in the aura, and the time is correspondingly active and playful.  By about 12 years, yellow starts to dominate, then from 24-36 years and 36-48 greens and turquoise appear more, highlighting balance and health.  The blues, violets and magentas are more evident after 48 years of age.  Blue and violet are the colors associated with teaching and serving, when we can share some of the knowledge and skills gained through life. Magenta, the dominant color from 72 years onward, is the time for letting go.

The energy we need for life comes not only from our food and drink but also from the electromagnetic radiations of the sun, and the invisible energies of cosmos.  We are children of the Light; we are composed and fed from it.

The energy that we take in originates from cosmic energy.  This is the life force that underlies our ability to breathe, eat, grow, have feelings, and think. The physical energy from food and drink is just part of the energy that sustains us in life.  Both cosmic and physical energies are “life-supporting” energies. While food provides the physical or metabolic energy, life itself depends on cosmic energy. Cosmic energy streams in to happy people more that it does to those who are sad.  In denying themselves their own happiness, sad people also deny themselves the strength and vitality that could support and replenish them. The free flow of your energy includes the ability to express yourself freely.
